Database & Layouts

Management Reports

  • One of the greatest values of a database is to be able to export selected data from client records into reports that can be viewed, printed, or emailed.  ACT! 2009 provides this capability, but the built-in Reports offer little benefit to Financial Advisors.
  • Our MaxAct Customization includes over 30 Management Reports specifically designed for the securities business, including the ability to satisfy compliance requirements.

Letter, Envelope, & Label Templates

  • Every ACT! database comes with a Contact field, which contains the name of each Client, Prospective Client, or other Important person in the database. The MaxAct database also includes separate fields for the first name, last name, and full name of each spouse, since Financial Advisors have a need to lookup records by these fields or use them in correspondence.
  • Additionally, the MaxAct database includes a "Mailing Name" field plus extra templates for using these fields for sending letters, envelopes, and labels.

Advanced Queries for Birthdays & Anniversaries

  • One of the most important marketing strategies for building relationships with clients is to recognize Client and Spouse Birthdays.  Many of our Investment Advisors even send chocolates or birthday cakes to their "A" Clients.  Their "B" clients often get hand written cards, and even the "C" clients usually get computer-generated letters or cards.  With the MaxAct "Advanced Queries" it is easy to lookup each client category and send out a selected gift, card or letter with very little effort.
